To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience, we have outlined our terms and conditions, covering everything from booking and delivery to site requirements and responsibilities.
This document is designed to provide clear guidance on what to expect when hiring our luxury toilets, including important details on access requirements, payment terms, and hire conditions. By making a booking with us, you confirm your agreement with the terms outlined below. Terms and Conditions of Hire
These Terms and Conditions apply to all hire agreements with Cambridge Luxury Toilets.
1. Completing the Booking
1.1 The hirer must be at least 18 years of age.
1.2 A 25% non-refundable deposit of the agreed hire charge (inclusive of VAT) is required to secure the booking dates.
1.3 The remaining balance of the total hire charge must be paid before the day of installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.4 A written quotation will be issued. A signed copy of the quotation must be returned by the hirer for our records to confirm acceptance of the booking.
2. Site Conditions and Access
2.1 The hirer must provide a level, firm and suitable site with clear access for commercial vehicles.
2.2 Cambridge Luxury Toilets cannot be held responsible for damage to concealed or buried services, including but not limited to pipes, cables or drainage, unless their locations have been clearly marked by the hirer prior to delivery.
2.3 Hire charges do not include any repairs, reinstatement or making good to the site following delivery or collection.
2.4 The company reserves the right to remove the equipment from the site at its convenience if site conditions are unsuitable or unsafe.
3. Hirer Responsibilities
3.1 The hirer (or a nominated representative) must be present on site at the agreed delivery and collection times.
3.2 Once installed, the position of the equipment must not be changed. The hirer or any third party must not move, interfere with or tamper with the equipment in any way.
3.3 The hirer must provide a 16amp power supply within 10 metres of the unit, unless otherwise agreed.
3.4 It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure the site is:
- Level and stable
- Clear of debris and obstacles
- Free from overhead obstructions such as trees, hedges, cables or structures
3.5 The following are strictly prohibited:
- Decorative tinsel, crepe paper or self-adhesive materials attached to the units
- Naked flames, candles or similar items inside the units
- Smoking inside the units
3.6 Additional cleaning charges may apply if the units are not returned in the condition in which they were delivered.
3.7 The hirer is responsible for obtaining any permits, permissions or licences required for installation in advance of delivery.
3.8 The hirer is fully responsible for the equipment while it is on site or otherwise in their possession, including responsibility for:
- Loss or damage
- Vandalism
- Theft
- Fire
- Flood
3.9 The hirer agrees to pay all repair or replacement costs resulting from loss or damage to the equipment during the hire period.
3.10 The hirer must not interfere with, modify or add any lighting, heating, power supplies, cabling or electrical fittings to the equipment.
4. Cambridge Luxury Toilets Responsibilities
4.1 Cambridge Luxury Toilets will liaise with the hirer in advance to confirm installation and collection dates and times.
4.2 All equipment will be installed and collected by Cambridge Luxury Toilets. Once installation is complete, the hirer (or representative) will be asked to confirm that the equipment meets the agreed requirements.
4.3 Cambridge Luxury Toilets cannot be held liable for non-completion or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, access restrictions or unforeseen site conditions.
